The Fort Mill girls’ tennis team picked up right where it left off after its last match beating Clover Tuesday night.

The Lady Jackets swept the season series with Clover starting its second round of play in Region 3-5A. Fort Mill won 6-0 winning every match in straight sets.

Emily Rimmer won at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-1 and Reagan Adams won at No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-1.

At No. 3 singles Hannah Rainey won 6-0, 6-0 and No. 4 singles Justine Das won 6-1, 6-3. Avalon Stevens won at No. 5 singles by a 6-0, 6-0 score.

Abhi Nallareddy and Maddie Burcham won at No. 2 doubles for Fort Mill with a 6-0, 6-0 score.

Fort Mill is 7-0 on the season and 7-0 in region.

The Catawba Ridge girls’ tennis team beat Northwestern 5-1. Winning for the Copperheads was Gianna Toscano 6-0, 6-0; Skylar White 6-1, 6-0; Katelyn Evans 6-1, 7-6 (7-2); Abby Russell 6-1, 6-0; and in No. 2 doubles Jane Rohrmeier and Meredith Reynolds 6-1, 6-1. Catawba Ridge is 3-3 in Region 3-5A and 3-4 overall.

The Fort Mill boys’ volleyball team fell 3-0 to Clover in a Region 3-5A match. The loss drops Fort Mill to 2-7 in region play and 4-12 overall.

The Nation Ford boys’ volleyball team fell 3-0 to Blythewood on the road and dropped to 3-6 in Region 3-5A and 7-9 overall.

The Catawba Ridge boys’ volleyball team beat Northwestern 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-22) at home to improve to 6-3 in Region 3-5A and 11-6 overall.

The Fort Mill girls’ volleyball team lost to Clover 3-1 (23-25, 23-25, 25-19, 19-25) to fall to 7-8 on the season and 3-5 in Region 3-5A.

The Nation Ford girls’ golf team finished tied for 12th shooting a 268 at the HV3 Invitational in Gaston County. Sara McCaskill led with an 80 and Piper Sabino had an 85. Katie Griggs shot a 103 for Nation Ford. Nation Ford tied for 12th ironically with Catawba Ridge, who also shot a 268. Brooke Mehlhouse shot an 87. Reagan Lynch shot a 90 and both Ella Rose Hill and Anjali Peddisetty shot rounds of 91. Charlotte Catholic won the event with a 223.
