Catawba Ridge won the Milltown Showdown over Nation Ford and Fort Mill to finish their regular season with a perfect 12-0 record.

The Catawba Ridge girls’ golf team won the Milltown Showdown on the golf course at Tega Cay Golf Club Monday.

Catawba Ridge shot a 339 in the 18-hole tournament with Nation Ford finishing second with a 363 and Fort Mill shooting a 368 on their home course.

Brooke Mehlhouse led with an 80 and was medalist for the tournament. She was followed with an 81 from Reagan Lynch and an 88 from Anjali Peddisetty. Ella Rose Hill rounded the scoring out for Catawba Ridge with a 90.

Nation Ford was led by Sara McCaskill with an 81. Piper Sabino shot an 86 for the Falcons and Katie Griggs was behind her with an 87. Mary Kate Quinlan finished with a 109.

Fort Mill was led with an 85 from Sam Benton. Claire Collins shot an 87 and Lauren Venio shot a 94. Ava Starosky finished things out for the Jackets with a 103.

With the win, Catawba Ridge finishes the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record. Fort Mill sits at 6-4 on the season and Nation Ford is 6-7. All three team will play in the Region 3-5A tournament next Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Chester Golf Club.

The Fort Mill girls’ tennis team beat Catawba Ridge 5-1 in a make-up match that was rained out earlier in the season. Fort Mill is now 9-0 on the season and in Region 3-5A. Catawba Ridge dropped to 3-5 overall and 3-4 in the region. Winning for Fort Mill was No. 1 Emily Rimmer 6-0, 6-0; No. 2 Reagan Adams 6-1, 6-2; No. 4 Hannah Swainey 6-3, 6-0; No. 5 Justine Das 6-1, 6-1 and in No. 2 doubles Abhi Nallreddy and Maddie Burcham 6-1, 6-2. Winning for Catawba Ridge was Skylar White at No. 3 singles after her Fort Mill opponent retired.
