Fort Mill’s Ava Corbi swims the 200-yard freestyle event during the Jackets quad-meet Thursday.

The Fort Mill swim team got a clean sweep in the pool to open their season.

Fort Mill swept three others schools including rivals Nation Ford to open the season. The Fort Mill girls beat Nation Ford 100-70, Rock Hill 138-32, and Clover 128-42. The Fort Mill girls won the 200-yard freestyle relay event.

The Fort Mill boys won 103-67 over Nation Ford, 134-36 over Rock Hill and 113-57 over Clover. The Fort Mill boys won the 200-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, and 400-yard freestyle relay.

Nation Ford boys beat Rock Hill 135-35 and Clover 111-59. The Nation Ford girls on 122-48 over Rock Hill and 115-55 over Clover. The Falcons girls won the 200-yard medley relay and the Nation Ford boys won the 200-yard freestyle relay.

The Fort Mill girls’ golf team beat Northwestern 209-214 to start their head-to-head matches off winning at Tega Cay Golf Club. Samantha Benton led the Jackets with a 48.

The Nation Ford Falcons split with Indian Land and York at Spring Lake Country Club as Nation Ford shot a 195. Indian Land won the tri-match shooting a 186 and York finished with a 212. Hadley Mark led Nation Ford with a 46 and Mary Kate Quinlan had a 48. Katie Griggs finished with a 49 and Sydney Pounds wrapped up the scoring for the Falcons with a 52.
