Fort Mill’s Ava Corbi won two events in Thursday’s swim meet for the Jackets.

The Fort Mill swim team swam a perfect meet Thursday winning all 22 events in sweeping four other teams at the Fort Mill Aquatic Center.

Fort Mill beat Indian Land, Northwestern, Thomas Hart Academy, and the Governor’s School. The Jackets won all six relay events and all 16 individual events.

The Fort Mill boys won 138-27 over Governor’s School, 133-30 over Indian Land, 132-38 over Northwestern, and 140-4 over Thomas Hart Academy. The Fort Mill girls won 140-16 over the Governor’s School, 140-4 over Thomas Hart Academy, 136-33 over Northwestern, and 137-30 over Indian Land.

Individual winners for Fort Mill were:

Lila Hadley – girls’ 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke

Bella Corbi – girls’ 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard butterfly

Parker Hightower – boys’ 200-yard individual medley and 500-yard freestyle

Ava Corbi – girls’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke

Turner Wiand – boys’ 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle

Adrian Paredes – boys’ 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard breaststroke

Carson Wolf – boys’ 200-yard freestyle

Cadyn Henson – girls’ 100-yard freestyle

Lily Lindgren – girls’ 500-yard freestyle

Tyler Smith – boys’ 100-yard backstroke

Fort Mill swims again next Thursday, Sept. 26 as part of the Fort Mill Fallout against Nation Ford and Catawba Ridge at the Fort Mill Aquatic Center.

The Catawba Ridge girls’ volleyball team lost 3-0 to Rock Hill falling 25-15, 25-20, 25-23 and are now 3-2 in Region 3-5A and 7-6 overall.

The Catawba Ridge boys’ volleyball team beat Rock Hill 3-0 winning 25-14, 25-14, 25-18 and are now 4-2 in Region 3-5A and 9-5 overall.
