Post 43 pitcher John Dober picked up the win on the mound against Chesnee Post 48 Friday night.

Fort Mill Post 43 Seniors exacted some revenge on Chesnee Post 48 Friday night.

Post 43 won 7-2 over Chesnee after dropping the second game of the year to them.

Chesnee came out strong in the first inning to start the game. They scored two runs on two hits and two walks to go up early.

Fort Mill threatened in the bottom of the first inning getting two on with a single from Owen Noonan and a walk to Simon Fernandez.

Post 43 got things rolling in the second inning. Nick Chuttey and Brennan Helms both singled. A bases loaded walk by Thomas Ealey scored Chuttey to put Fort Mill on the board. Noonan then doubled scoring Helms and courtesy runner Nico Bartolotti. A single by Fernandez scored Ealey and he would eventually score on a wild pitch to put Post 43 up 5-2.

Fort Mill starter Logan Sulli would go two innings allowing two runs on two hits, while walking two and striking two out. John Dober would come in the game in the third inning.

In the fourth inning, Fort Mill again put the pressure on. An error and back-to-back walks led to Chuttey hitting a two RBI single scoring Jackson Mullen and Cooper Zohner, who reached on an error and walk respectively.

Dober would come out is the game and be replaced by Aiden Catarain in the fifth inning. Dober went two innings allowing one hit and striking out one and get the win in the game. Catarain would go one inning on the mound allowing one hit and one walk.

Post 43 got the bases loaded in the fifth inning, but failed to get a run across.

In the sixth inning, Lane Ross pitched a hitless inning striking out two and Liam Quinn closed the game out in the seventh inning for Post 43. He would give up a single, but not allow a run.

Noonan led at the plate going 3-4 with two RBIs and Chuttey went 2-3 with two RBIs.

Fort Mill improve to 12-3 overall on the season with the win Friday night.
